About Us
The story of SoYou begins at home — with my mother and grandmother, two women whose grace and love for sarees shaped my earliest memories. I grew up watching them drape sarees with such elegance, transforming a simple piece of fabric into a symbol of beauty and tradition.
Every fold, every weave, every color grabbed my attention — and today I tell you the story of celebration, resilience, and pride I cherished as a girl. My mother taught me that a saree isn’t just clothing, it’s tradition, it’s elegance and it’s a fashion statement that connects generations, while passing on her beloved, ever green Sarees to us, her daughters. My grandmother’s treasure chest of handwoven silks and cottons became my first design school, where I would take her passed on sarees and made mini sarees and outfits for my dolls with her help. I learned to appreciate craftsmanship, texture, and timeless style, all with the help of a wonderful woman who I adored and will continue to do so.
SoYou is my way of honouring them — and every woman who carries her heritage with grace while embracing modernity. Through each saree we bring to you, I hope to pass on that same legacy of love, artistry, and elegance that my mother and grandmother gifted me.
